Enemies will have more hit points and be able to take the player down in just a few hits. Players do get a reward for clearing the game on this mode, but it may not be what they expect.įor those that aren't aware, the Infamous mode takes all the things that were already challenging about Far Cry 5and turns them up to eleven.
While most difficulty modes don't come with a special reward for beating them outside of a trophy or achievement, challenges as grueling as Infamous mode typically do. This mode wasn't in the game at launch, but an update in 2018 added it alongside a new game plus feature. Far Cry 5 has been out for a while now, but players returning to the franchise as more information about Far Cry 6 is revealed or even those that are jumping in for the first time might be wondering about its Infamous difficulty mode.
